Hello Brethren,
It has been a great year for Freemasonry in the 8th District. We're halfway through the Inspection season and our attendance and enthusiasm continues to grow each week.
Wilmington #52 and Dalton #578 have rescheduled their Inspections to April 10, 2010. Wilmington starts at 9:00am, a District Officers Association meeting at 11:00am, lunch at 12:00pm and Dalton begins at 1:00pm.
The 8th Masonic District Grand Master’s Reception is scheduled on March 13, 2010 at 6:30 pm at the Clinton County Fair Grounds (EXPO CENTER) in Wilmington, Ohio.
Each lodge will receive a letter from the Officers Association in the near future with more details on reservations. The cost this year for each meal is $25.00.
If your Lodge or one of your Lodge Brethren would like to sponsor a Grand Lodge Officer, Past Grand Master, District Deputy Grand Master, Past District Deputy Grand Master, District Education Officer, or Past District Education Officer, please notify any 8th District Officer for the officer of your choice and also identify who will escort the GLO and his lady.
We've scheduled a Grand Masters Class on April 17, 2010 at Fairborn Lodge. Please come prepared to report your participation at our next Inspection. If yes, have the number of candidates you plan to have attend. If you have other plans for a Grand Masters Class, please report the same to your DDGM.
